Egyptian Court Convicts Mada Masr Editor Lina Attalah, Orders Site Shut

A Cairo court has fined the editor of one of Egypt's few remaining independent news sites the maximum penalty and ordered the site closed. Mada Masr says it applied for a licence three years ago and never received a reply.
