BOSTON — This is an official press release from the U.S. Department of Justice (USAO - Massachusetts), published as received.
BOSTON – A Brockton man pleaded guilty today to making false statements to law enforcement regarding his transfer of 24 firearms he had purchased. More than half of the firearms surfaced at various crime scenes across the Northeast including a Boston homicide.
Klordenzsky Senecharles, 29, pleaded guilty to one count of false statements. U.S. District Court Judge Angel Kelley scheduled sentencing for Jan. 20, 2027. Senecharles was arrested and charged in April 2026. He was released on pretrial conditions.
Between March 2020 and May 2021, Senecharles purchased a total of 28 firearms and later sold four of them. Of the 24 firearms still registered to Senecharles, 13 firearms were recovered in connection with criminal activity, including a Feb. 26, 2024 homicide in Boston. Senecharles told law enforcement that he had sold 21 of the 24 firearms to various Massachusetts registered firearms dealers. The firearms dealers reported that they had no record of purchasing any of the 21 firearms from Senecharles.
The charge of making false statements provides for a sentence of up to five years in prison, three years of supervised release and a fine of $250,000. Sentences are imposed by a federal district court judge based upon the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and statutes which govern the determination of a sentence in a criminal case.
United States Attorney Leah B. Foley and Thomas Greco, Special Agent in Charge of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives made the announcement today. Valuable assistance was provided by the United States Marshals Service. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Meghan C. Cleary and Colin T. Missett of the Criminal Division are prosecuting the case.
